The City of Westlake maintains two historical burial parks within its boarders – Evergreen Cemetery and Maple Ridge Cemetery. Both properties serve as the final resting place for many veterans, including some early settlers who served in the Civil War.
Evergreen holds two commemorative events each year – an Easter Sunday sunrise service and a Memorial Day wreath placing event. The specialists at Kotecki Family Memorials have been authorized providers of cemetery memorials for over a century.
The cemetery is located on the east side of Center Ridge about 650 feet north of its intersection with Crocker Road / Stearns Road and about 750 feet south of its intersection with Porter Roads.
