Sharon Township Cemetery Memorials

Kotecki Serves Medina County Cemeteries For Over 125 Years

Managed by the local authority, Sharon Township Cemetery opened in 1818. It is open for burial of residents of the Medina County community, and offers both cemetery lots and columbarium niches.

The cemetery is located on the east side of Ridge Road (Ohio State Route 94) about 0.6 miles north of its intersection with Fixler Road.

With over 1,600 memorials, the cemetery represents a historic and growing period following the post-civil war era of Medina County. Among those memorialized include Benjamin Bentley, a Revolutionary War soldier. He lived to age 94 and is buried in Sharon Township.
