Medina Center Cemetery Memorials

Kotecki Family Serves Medina Township Cemetery Established 1821

The many hills and rural settings in Medina County house some of the most picturesque and historic cemeteries of Northeast Ohio. Dating back to 1821, Medina Center Cemetery marks the timeline of Medina Township’s early settlers to the community.

According to published media reports, the township was first surveyed into 81 equal size lots in 1810. The family names of early area descendants can be found within the cemetery markers. Among those interred is Zenas Hamilton, reported to be the first permanent settler in Medina Township.

Kotecki Family Memorials is an authorized monument provider to Medina Center Cemetery. Our Medina showroom is conveniently located on West Smith Road.
